A massive well done to Summer for a huge improvement in her punctuality. Summer would often be late for school but since speaking with her tutor, Summer set a target to come into school on time each day which she has achieved!

Today was the day that The Beacon Centre started decorating for Christmas. Staff and students worked together to decorate the Christmas trees whilst listening to Christmas songs to get them into the Christmas Spirit. There was lots of smiles and laughter.

This week the award goes to Miss Lambert for always being supportive and going above and beyond to bring entertainment to The Beacon Centre.
Tuesday 1st December 2020
As today is the 1st December, pupils were welcomed into school by a special guest who handed out candy canes and played Christmas music to start them off for the day.

Key Stage 3A visited Druridge Bay, Northumberland for our Friday enrichment. Although it was a little chilly we had a great time walking around the lake and managed to all stay dry getting across the stepping stones!
