We are very proud of our primary children who performed brilliantly for parents and carers yesterday. They read and sang  about the story of Christmas. There was a free raffle for the adults and everyone enjoyed festive refreshments. Santa also made an early delivery which went down a treat! Here are some photos of the highlights.

Across the Autumn term, we have been focusing on the development of our learning environment. We have developed a creative, construction, reading and writing area. The children have also loved developing role play areas, especially linked to Christmas when the staff and children developed a Santa Workshop.

A very warm welcome to The Beacon Centre Primary School, we are a diverse learning community that provides the best possible support in enabling pupils to achieve their maximum potential. Our broad, balanced and exciting curriculum effectively prepares children for the next stage of their education and life beyond.

The primary school pupils had the opportunity to visit our secondary provision to take part in a Remembrance Day assembly. The children performed a song to staff and pupils and enjoyed a hot chocolate afterwards. It was a special time to remember those who have fought for us.

We were lucky enough to visit Boldon Lodge Outdoor Activity Centre. We completed Forest School activities. We built dens using natural materials and we even got the chance to roast marshmallows at the end of the day!!
